Lancets
There are hundreds of different “brands” of lancets, but at the end of the day they all boil down to practically two varieties – Traditional Lancets vs Pip Lancets. In this article, we explore the differences and pros and cons of the two types.
The smaller the size (known as the gauge), the thicker the needle. For most people, a size 30 lancet will suffice to get a good finger prick. However, for those with thicker skin, a smaller size needle between 25 – 28 may be more effective as the thicker needle will work better with their skin
