Diathermy Electrode – Conization
Diathermy Electrode – Conization is a scalpel, a laser knife, or a thin wire loop heated by an electric current may be used to remove the tissue. The tissue is then checked under a microscope for signs of disease.. An innovative LEEP electrode, the Fischer Cone Biopsy Excisor (FCBE) comes in a variety of sizes and shapes for precise cone biopsy specimens. Smooth, 360-degree rotating motion removes a perfect, cone-shaped cervical specimen in seconds. Linear wire electrode stays rigid and makes a clean, precise cut with little or no bleeding and less thermal artifact for easier pathology evaluation and simplified tissue analysis. Stop Arm provides firm support and added stability for the wire electrode, resulting in better control and smoother cutting. Arm curvature permits precise instrument positioning and allows for unobstructed visualization during procedure. Shaft and Stop Arm are fully insulated to protect endocervical canal and underlying vaginal structures
